Animora Privacy Policy
1. Data Controller
The data controller is Launch My Vibe, LLC, registered at 4023 Kennett Pike #50846, Wilmington, Delaware 19807, United States of America (the “Controller” or “Animora”). Animora is a brand and website available at animora.video, offering personalized gift video stories.
Contact with the Controller: email@animora.video.
Registration number: Delaware File Number 10281937.
2. Data Protection Officer
The Controller has not appointed a Data Protection Officer. For any matter concerning personal data, please contact us at email@animora.video.
3. Scope of the Service and Data Flow
Animora provides personalized gift video-story services to customers in the European Union and other European markets served by Animora. The customer journey is as follows:
-
The customer fills out a quiz on the website, providing their name, phone number, and email address.
-
The sales department contacts the customer by phone and WhatsApp, presenting an offer.
-
The customer pays 50% of the order value via Stripe.
-
The customer fills out a brief and uploads photos, video recordings, and texts of personal stories — these materials may contain the likeness of third parties (a partner, family members, sometimes children).
-
The film is produced using third-party AI services for image, video, and voice generation; some of these services are located in the United States.
-
The customer receives a preview of the film and requests revisions.
-
The customer pays the remaining 50% of the order value.
-
The customer receives the finished digital video file.
4. Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing
| Processing purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Handling the quiz submission and pre-contractual contact | Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR |
| Conclusion and performance of the contract (film production, payments, file delivery) | Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR |
| Marketing calls, WhatsApp/SMS messages, and marketing emails with offers | Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and the consent required by the electronic-communications rules applicable in the recipient’s country |
| Establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims; service quality assurance | Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest of the Controller) |
| Compliance with accounting and tax obligations | Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR |
5. Categories of Recipients
Personal data may be entrusted to entities processing data on Animora’s behalf, including: the sales support function, the CRM provider, telecommunications service providers (phone calls, WhatsApp, SMS), AI service providers used in film production, the payment operator Stripe, and hosting and email service providers.
Each of these entities processes data solely under a data processing agreement and only to the extent necessary to perform its function.
The AI vendors we use are Google generative models (the Gemini family, including Omni and Omni Flash), OpenAI and Anthropic. We maintain a current list of all processors in an internal register and provide it on request at email@animora.video.
6. Transfers of Data to Third Countries
Some of the AI service providers used in film production operate in the United States, which means personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area.
The transfer takes place on the basis of one of the mechanisms provided for in the GDPR — a European Commission adequacy decision (e.g. under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. The mechanism applied to a given provider depends on that provider’s certification status and is verified individually for each provider.
Our US-based providers include Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, Stripe and Meta (WhatsApp Business). We verify the transfer mechanism for each of them individually and keep it in an internal register; we provide the mechanism applied to a specific provider on request at email@animora.video.
7. Data Retention Period
Data is retained for the following periods:
-
quiz form data (name, phone, email), where no contract is concluded — 12 months from the last contact;
-
source materials uploaded by the customer (photos, video, texts) — 12 months from delivery of the finished film; after that period they are deleted, and if the customer asks earlier we delete them straight away;
-
the finished film and transaction documentation (including proof of payment) — for the period resulting from tax and accounting regulations (generally 5 years from the end of the tax year in which the tax obligation arose) and for the limitation period of any potential claims;
-
recordings of phone calls — 12 months from the date of the call;
-
data processed on the basis of marketing consent — until consent is withdrawn.
8. Recording of Phone Calls
Phone calls with the sales department may be recorded where permitted by applicable law. The recordings serve to document the commercial conversation and assure service quality. The customer is informed at the start of each recorded call.
9. Marketing Calls, WhatsApp, SMS, and Email
Phone contact, WhatsApp or SMS messages containing a commercial offer, and marketing emails require the customer’s prior consent under the electronic-communications rules applicable in their country. Consent is voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.
10. Third-Party Data in Uploaded Materials
Materials uploaded by the customer (photos, video recordings, texts) may contain the likeness or other personal data of third parties — for example, a partner or family members, sometimes including children. Because Animora has no direct contact with these individuals, it fulfills its information obligation toward them by publishing this Privacy Policy, in accordance with Art. 14(5)(b) GDPR.
The customer uploading the materials guarantees that they have obtained the consent of any third parties shown in the materials to use their likeness and data for the purpose of creating and delivering the film.
Animora does not use facial recognition technology or any other biometric identification tools on uploaded materials. Uploading a photo by itself does not constitute processing of biometric data within the meaning of the GDPR — such data would only arise from the use of specific technical means for identifying a person, which Animora does not employ.
11. Data of Minors
If uploaded materials contain the likeness of a minor, consent to the processing of that minor’s data is given by their parent or legal guardian. The customer uploading materials showing a child guarantees that such consent has been obtained.
12. Rights of the Data Subject
The data subject has the right to: access their data, rectify it, erase it, restrict its processing, data portability, and object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time — without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.
To exercise the above rights, please contact the Controller at email@animora.video.
13. Right to Lodge a Complaint
The data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the data-protection supervisory authority in the EU country of their habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.
14. Voluntariness of Providing Data
Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary for: responding to the quiz submission, concluding and performing the contract, and creating and delivering the film. Refusal to provide the data makes it impossible to perform the service.
15. Cookies
The animora.video website currently uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to function. The website does not currently use any analytics tools or advertising pixels.
If analytics or advertising tools are introduced in the future, their use will require the user’s prior consent where required by applicable electronic-communications law.
16. Data Security
The Controller applies technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or destruction, appropriate to the nature, scope, and risk of the processing.
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access limited to the people working on your order, authenticated business accounts and regular backups. Payments are handled by Stripe and we do not store card details.
17. Changes to the Privacy Policy
The Controller reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy. The current version of the Policy is always available at animora.video.
